- Abstract
We are making researches into seamless integration of information
distributed over networks under the SAGE(Smart AGent Engiconment) project.
In SAGE, conversational agents speak ACL(Agent Communication Language) and
cooperate in solving a problem.
To put the SAGE into practical use,
we are trying to apply the SAGE to Electronic Commerce.
We have already constructed its prototype called SAGE:Francis\cite{ieice菅坂}.
The prototype has a function of search by compound terms.
As the result of an experiment with two legacy database applications,
Oracle and Access,
whose names and category structures are different,
SAGE:Francis succeeded in integrating information on commodity
and the response time was on average 5 seconds.
As a next step of SAGE:Francis, we are trying to implemente a funcion
of nagotiatoin like bargaining or bidding.
In this paper we propose a next model of SAGE:Francis for this function and
discuss ontology for EC.
