1994 BA from Gustavus Adolphus College (Sociology & Anthropology Dept.)
1995 BA from Kansai University of Foreign Studies (English Dept.)
1995 Joined a Toy Manufacturing Company (Overseas Dept.)
1999 Assistant at NTT CS Lab.

Experiences in Minnesota

I transfered to a very small Swedish Luthern College, Gustavus Adolphus College, in Minnesota as a junior student, and changed my major to Sociology and Anthropology. The campus was located on a hill and the scenery is so beautiful in all seasons, although everythng is covered by snow in winter. I have a special memory about Minnesotan Winter. It often gets cold as negative 30℃. The moisture is frozen in air and we enjoyed the diamond dusts at night. The interesting event was to watch the northern lights (aurora). I had a great roommate, Laura Timm Frese and surprisingly we lived together for 2 years until we both graduated. We were and are like real sisters. I experienced many things and everything is very special to me. But the best thing was to have many friends from all over the world. I would like to thank all my friends for their support and help. They are my treasure of my life. I sincerely wish for peace for them.

Gardening "I have a green thumb."

I began gardening some months ago. At first I was mainly growing flowers and plants to watch, and now I also grow some edible vegetables. I am looking forward to harvest tomatos, green peppers, eggplants, and etc. this summer!!

My Nephew, Yuya

He is now 2 years and 6 months old, and such a car-freak. Here is a shot of him driving Supra. He has actually become a big brother. Yes, the baby brother was born on June 15, 1999. The battle is to start between those boys for mother. I will show the photo of baby once available.
