Shine

This is a research on methodology of building socialware.

We investigate data, data structure, user inferfaces, communication protocols, and program controll mechanisms that are common to vairous socialware applications, and consequently provide a design guideline in developing socialware applications. In particular, we focus on realizing socialware as multi-agent systems, in which distrubuted clients cooperate, rather than conventional client-server systems.

In addition, we are developing a platform named Shine, which is intended to be an infrastructure for developing applications following our design methodology. Being built on the common platform Shine, an application can

Software

The Shine platform is implemented in Java and is provided as a Java class library. Unfortunately, we are not ready to release any product to public. Shine is still in the stage of prototyping.
