The Internet continues to provide a global information space by bridging humans and humans and humans and computers. In order to properly process the abundance of complex data in this large space, a new form of intelligent communications system, or a model of an advanced intelligence system, is being sought to surpass humans. Aiming at the development of such models, we are studying mathematical issues on intelligence systems, specially, learning, cognition, and understanding.

The Intelligent Communication Laboratory consists of the following two research groups:
