- Abstract
We propose a method for building a qualitative spatial model
of landmarks based on geometrical constraints.
The model is built by iterating the following steps:
(1) observing qualitative motions of moving objects from the landmarks,
(2) partitioning the landmarks into two groups,
(3) acquiring {\it three point constraints},
and (4) propagating the constraints.
We have applied this method to qualitative localization of vision sensors
of a {\it distributed vision system} which consists of several vision sensors
and evaluated it with simulations.
