NTT Communication Science Laboratories (CS Labs) celebrated its 30th anniversary last year. From the beginning, we have been engaged in research to construct basic theories that address the essence of humans and information and to create innovative technologies that can bring about changes in society. Our aim is to achieve communication that “reaches to the heart” between humans and between humans and computers. In this lecture, I will introduce our recent research results at CS Labs and our efforts toward future advances.
