Curriculum Vitae

Dr. Sadao Hiroya was born in Japan on June 1976. He received the B.S. degree from Tokyo University of Science in 1999 and the M.E. and Ph.D. degrees from the Tokyo Institute of Technology in 2001 and 2006, respectively. He joined NTT Communication Science Laboratories, NTT Corporation in 2001. From 2001 to 2003, he was also a researcher in the CREST project of the Japan Science and Technology Agency. From 2007 to 2008, he was a visiting scholar at Boston University, USA. His current research interests include the links between production and perception of speech, functional brain imaging and acoustic-to-articulatory inversion problems.
He is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), the Institute of Electronics, Information and Communication Engineers (IEICE), the Society for Neuroscience (SfN), and the Acoustical Society of Japan (ASJ).
