Movement of contrast modulation

• The luminance contrast of a dynamic random dot pattern is modulated by a drifting sinusoidal grating. Local mean luminance is uniform.
• This is a second-order motion stimulus, in which a second-order feature (contrast modulation) moves while first-order feature (luminance) does not.
