How to get to TMI-2002

Overview

TMI-2002 will be held in the Keihanna region in Japan. The main international airport is Kansai International Airport (KIX).

The main conference will be held within the NTT Keihanna Building. The workshop and tutorial will be held at the Keihanna Plaza. These two sites are about 10 minutes walk from each other.

Below is a map of the surrounding area. The NTT Keihanna Building is marked with a red box. Keihanna Plaza is a little above it.

To get here from Kansai airport, catch an airport limousine bus from stop number 9 to Gakken Keihanna Plaza (1800 yen/person) (timetable). It takes about an hour and a half.

You can also catch a train to Gakuenmae or Takanohara station and catch a taxi (20 minutes or 10 minutes respectively), or catch a train to Shin-Hosono or Hosono station and catch a bus (15 minutes). A simplified map of the relevant railway lines is given below.
